World Day Against Child Labour 12th June 2020

According to figures available on the United Nations’ website, approximately 152 million children have been pushed into child labour . In India the figure is 10.1 million. The recent pandemic has sent shocks to the livelihoods of millions of people around our  society.    Unfortunately children are often the first to face the impact of such disasters.  Moreover closure  of many government schemes like the mid-day meals in schools have left children hungry.  Parents who are daily wage earners have lost  their  incomes. It has left no option but to push children to the workforce to add to the family income.
The condition is getting grim day by day.  But still there is a scope for all  of us to  stop child labour. You can stand with us.  You can join us in our movement by contributing your valuable time/skill for the betterment  of the children.   You may also donate us. (please visit the donate page).  Take action and protect children from child labour now more than ever.
